how does a gait + running analysis work?
foot, knee, or hip pain while walking?
Gait assessment will help identify the essence of any issues that you might have during walking, running, tennis, or other activities you enjoy. Physica Health examines old insoles and prescribes new ones as needed, either custom or prefabricated.
customized assessment of the foot, knee, and hip
Gait analysis has two stages. The first is a customized assessment of the foot, knee, and hip movements using high-end force plates that examine how you walk. The force plates record data that informs a practitioner of the dynamics of your walking cycle. The plates' visual interpretation of the data tells the practitioner of pain sources and aides in the development of a plan to correct any dysfunctions.
musculoskeletal assessment
Following the force plate analysis, our physiotherapist carries out a musculoskeletal assessment to examine the limbs of your body. Physica Health employs a highly advanced force measurement platform that uses thousands of sensors to give us a 2D and 3D analysis of foot position, pressure areas, and load development and distribution.
